The season of pink, amber and red hues in amidst, soft golden light and the delight of cosy layers.
Another Sunday rolls in and a thought begins to take root…a tumbling and interlocking feeling…circling around the profound fragility, vulnerability, deep wonder and bliss of being alive.
How easy it is to be haring along, ever fixing, sorting, mending and preparing, and, unwittingly to miss the beauty.
Life is made up of many transitions and transformations, unexpected joys and deep sadness, immense challenge and beautiful chaos.
The spiralling, enlivening, earth shattering, soul shaking, snow globe esque swirling of life might be described as kind of beautiful chaos. Loving with all every fibre of your being and experiencing great depth of feeling comes with extraordinary highs and crashing lows, one’s centre unwaveringly in tact, yet sometimes seemingly faraway and unreachable.
Even here, you meet yourself.
The pain and sorrow. The knock backs. The hardest of life’s seasons.
And, always, the beauty.
The tenderness. The tiny and poignant details that make up a life.
Love,
Lou
Quote of the week:
Should you shield the canyons from the windstorms you would never see the true beauty of their carvings.
― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross
For you to reflect on and perhaps write in your journal:
What beauty to be found in the chaos of your life now? The chaos of inner life, outer or both. Describe it. Draw it. Name it. Say it. Breathe it in.
