The week of summer solstice and the natural world is uninhibited, generous, spontaneous, instinctive and abundant. Perhaps we can learn from this display as we choose to bring our gifts into bloom with confidence and playfulness.
With the longest day of the year bathing us in light, we are called to pause, rest on the earth, remember that everything else can wait, and be in our sensory experience, connecting with the gifts around us and within us.
Resonating with the energy of abundance and healthy expression, consider what needs to be metabolised, vocalised or let go of, what might you like to bring into bloom this season?
Internally, we might nurture our inner soul life through nourishing activities, deep rest and gentle joys. Externally, we might explore spontaneous expression, sharing and experiencing together.
The reflection point is asking you to lay down some of what you are carrying and allow your natural gifts and ways of being to emerge and unfurl into the light of summer.
Love,
Lou
For you to reflect on and perhaps write in your journal:
What do I feel called to focus on this season?
What am I ready to intentionally lay down and let go of?
Quote of the week:
And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer.
