A new week begins to unfurl and with it I find myself somewhere between cocooning and going out into the wild.
Note to self (and for you all): every new day is a blank canvas.
Wherever we are, a chance to start anew. Yesterday is yesterday, today is a new day. And if the morning feels sludgy? Well, in the afternoon there’s a chance to change that.
There might a plan for the day or nothing at all on the agenda, either way — there are many avenues, innumerable choices to make with intention. If we imbue the day with a sense of possibility, there is a spacious tone to our encounters, a sprinkle of this or that, we notice and discover more.
We all deserve to feel a sense of possibility. And what a marvellous feeling, that anything could happen! Quite the opposite from feeling muddy or sinking or stuck in a loop, a different state to ‘figuring things out’ and staying within rigid lines.
Opening up to a sense of possibility is a rekindling of imagination and dreaming, an openness to the many tributaries to explore and the wonderful unpredictable surprises yet to unfold.
Love,
Lou
For you to reflect on and perhaps write in your journal:
Do you notice you have been closed/open to a sense of possibility recently?
What would the dreamer in you design for you this season?
Quote of the week:
Sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
